Jornada y vacaciones de un profesional del hogar

Los profesionales encargados de la atención y el cuidado de personas mayores en domicilio disponen, como el resto de trabajadores, de ciertos derechos en cuanto a libranzas y vacaciones. Las dudas sobre la jornada y las vacaciones de un profesional del hogar son frecuentes entre las familias. Aquí te explicamos los más relevantes.

JORNADA SEMANAL

  • La jornada máxima será de 40h de trabajo efectivo, sin perjuicio de los tiempos de presencia, a disposición del titular del hogar, que se acuerden entre ambas partes.
  • Entre el fin de una jornada y el inicio de la siguiente el profesional deberá disponer de un descanso mínimo de 12 horas en caso de ser profesional externo y de 10 horas en caso de ser profesional interno. 
  • El profesional del hogar dispondrá de un descanso diario de 2h para las comidas principales. Este tiempo no será contabilizado como tiempo de trabajo. Durante este tiempo el profesional puede abandonar el domicilio si así lo desea.
  • El descanso semanal será de 36h consecutivas que comprenderán,  salva demanda especial, la tarde del sábado o la mañana del lunes y el domingo completo.

VACACIONES

  • El periodo de vacaciones anuales sería de 30 días naturales que podrán fraccionarse en dos o más periodos, si bien al menos uno de ellos será como mínimo de 15 días consecutivos. En caso de no llegar a un acuerdo 15 días serán fijados por el titular del hogar y otros 15 por el profesional. Estas fechas deberán ser conocidas con dos meses de antelación
  • Durante el periodo de vacaciones, el profesional no esta obligado a residir en el domicilio

FESTIVOS

  • El profesional tiene derecho al disfrute de las 14 fiestas y permisos previstos para cualquier trabajos y seleccionadas a principios de año señor el calendario laboral incluyendo festivos nacionales, autonómicos y municipales.

RECUERDA

El profesional de cuidado en domicilio tiene derecho a :

  • 14 festivos anuales
  • 30 días de vacaciones
  • 36 horas de libranza semanal
  • 2 horas de libranza diaria
  • 10 horas de descanso
